Maternity sessions are one of my favorites because it's such a joyful time when you are anticipating the arrival of your newborn baby. You just can't fake the excitement on your face when you think about that unborn child and how excited you are to meet them! That look of joy, awe, wonder and excitement is what I love capturing most.

Maternity sessions with me are basically a couple's session or family session, but with the main focus being all about the bump! So if you're expecting a baby and are wondering if you should schedule a maternity session... whether it's your first, second or fifth child, I say yes. I've heard many pregnant women say they don't want a maternity session because they don't feel particularly beautiful at 8 or 9 months pregnant... but expectant mothers are probably the most beautiful thing I get to photograph, besides the newborn baby themselves. As a mother, I know how special it is to carry a child within you. There is literally a miracle happening inside you... what a beautiful and precious time to capture and remember.
